Zeynep Çağla Üstün joined Gün + Partners in 2014 and currently works as a Managing Associate. Zeynep specializes in life sciences, medical devices, healthcare law, and intellectual property, with a particular focus on patents, utility models, and trademarks.
Zeynep represents clients before the Civil Courts for Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights in all types of IP-related disputes, particularly those concerning patents, utility models, and trademarks. Her expertise includes infringement actions, preliminary injunction requests, and invalidation proceedings.
She provides strategic advice on complex patent disputes with international dimensions, leveraging her experience in both patent law and administrative law. She develops enforcement strategies and offers regulatory guidance, particularly in matters involving pharmaceutical and healthcare regulations.
Zeynep also represents clients in regulatory reviews of marketing authorization dossiers before the Ministry of Health in patent-related disputes. In addition to her legal practice, she serves as the President of the Intellectual Property and Competition Law Board at the Ankara Bar Association.
